Book Sales

The main source of revenue for the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library is through book sales. Each year the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library non-profit organization sponsors used book sales throughout the community. Book lovers, home schooled children, and collectors throughout the area find fantastic bargains here. Donated and DE-processed books, magazines, encyclopedia sets, various types of electronic media, and many other items are available at unbelievably low price.

Donations are always welcome! If you would like to donate items for the library or the book sale, bring them to the Circulation Desk at the Main Library or to any of the four branches. For larger donations, please call the Friends of the Chattanooga Public Library office at (423)757-5425 for further directions. All donations for the book sale and the library are tax-deductible.

The book sales include more than 30,000 used books, movies, and other media in over

60 categories at incredibly low prices. The last day of the sale is bag day.
